Show at Milan Design Week 2016
Chuly Lee will show in Milan during Milan Design Week 2016. This show is the most established and long running collective showcase for independent designers in Milan featuring ceramics, furniture, lighting, product, textiles, jewellery, architecture, service design, interactive design and new concepts. Now in it’s 16th year. Located on Via Tortona, the busiest area of the Design Week and the original city zone. BASE is Milan’s new hybrid centre for culture and creativity. BASE took over the Ex-Ansaldo buildings on Via Tortona in 2015. BASE has a footprint of 7,000 square metres. The building is a former industrial facility set over four floors. BASE is in a 3.5 hectare complex which includes MUDEC the new Museum of Cultures housed in a magnificent building designed by David Chipperfield Architects. During the Design Week BASE will also host a major exhibition from the prestigious Triennale di Milano called, ‘XX1 Design after Design.’

The most exciting new work of ceramic artworks and OOW art jewellery will be shown in the show. Different colours and widened range of works are ready to meet the public from Europe and all over the world. Chuly Lee constantly research on uncontrollability and plasticity of ceramics that can shape an infinite number of forms by burning off natural objects, like dead verbena, raspberries, he calls resurrecting dead plants into the most highest valued object of every day life.
